The department is well equipped with a museum, Staff room and demonstration room. Students of II BHMS are taught with forensic medicine & toxicology studies. All the legal procedures, Acts, professional ethics and etiquette, mechanical injuries, post-mortem changes, toxicology, etc. are taught in detail to the students. Departmental library consists of latest editions of all forensic medicine books.
Practical demonstrations of identification of bones, dactylography, age estimation, x-ray reading, identification of toxicology specimens and poisons, identification of weapons, etc...
Department Museum consists of Charts, models, all kinds of weapons, Bones, Poisons (Organic & Inorganic), Cehmicals, etc. We are equipped with instruments rating from small shaving blades to large axe, multiple bone sets of all ages. We are also equipped with various toxins derived from plants, animals, metals and minerals etc. We train our students to become a forensic expert by using post-mortem in government hospitals.
