The management constituted a college council as instructed by the CCH under the chairmanship of the Advisor to the college with the Principal, and Heads of the departments as member. It used to meet periodically to discuss the details of the curriculum and training programme and enforcement of discipline and other academic matters, extra-curricular activities of the college and to ensure the proper execution.
Under the chairmanship of the principal and Advisor with the HODs of all teaching department, Deputy medical superintendent, Academic in charge, organize with departmental meetings like grand rounds, statistical meetings and clinical meetings including the periodical research review regularly, to monitor academic activities/ training as per the plan and programme laid down by the apex body.
The responsibility of ensuring the implementation of all academic programmers as per plan/ time table is vested upon the HODs concerned. The HODs should make regular reviews every month. It is the responsibility of the co-coordinator, DMS and academic in-charge to coordinate all the academic activities/ training of relative courses in consultation with HODs concerned in respect of them.
There is a disciplinary committee under the chairmanship of Principal, Advisor and executive officer of the college with the DMS of hospital, Academic in-charge, Madam of ladies’ hostel, Warden of the Men’s hostel to ensure strict discipline in all the establishments of the college.
The committee has right for conducting enquiries and initiating disciplinary action against the delinquent students/staff and to impose deserving punishment as is deemed fit. Any relaxation or modification of the decision of the committee is subject to the discretion of the management.
The UG students are under the preview of Academic in-charge, class wise, to look after them. It is the duty of the Academic in charge concerned to design and co-ordinate all the academic activities including conduct of tutorials, seminars, tour programmers, semester assessment etc. in respect of classes with the HODs concerned and in interaction with the parents in such matters are relating to the students leave and observance of rules and discipline.
