On the occasion of World Cancer Day, the Department of Community Medicine at Dr. Hahnemann Homoeopathy Medical College & Research Centre, Rasipuram organized a meaningful awareness rally to spread the message of hope, early detection, and prevention.

With the theme “Supporting the Fighters, Admiring the Survivors, Honoring the Taken”, students marched through the streets holding banners and distributing informative leaflets to the public. The rally aimed to educate the community about:

• The importance of early cancer screening

• Avoiding risk factors like tobacco and unhealthy lifestyles

• Promoting a supportive environment for cancer patients and survivors

Empowering the Community Through Knowledge

Participants wore purple ribbons in solidarity with those affected by cancer. The rally not only raised awareness but also highlighted the role of homeopathy in holistic care and symptom management for cancer patients, especially in areas like pain relief, mental well-being, and complementary support during treatment.
