Our college has been started on January 1st, 2000 by Lord Balaji Educational and Charitable trust Salem with Dr.N.Subramaniyan, M.D., (Hom), who is the founder and first principal of the college. It started running with academic excellence and managed by a group of dedicated Allopathic and Homoeopathic doctors and obtained Gold medal for outstanding academic performance in three consecutive years.
Later the college was undertaken by a New Management on 2009 with the chairmanship of Dr.S.Rajamanikcom, M.S.,(Ortho),M.A.M.S.,D.Ortho,Mch., a famous and leading orthopaedic surgeon and owner of Shree Shellappa Multispecialty Hospital Salem.
After the retirement of the 1st principal, Dr.D.Muthuramalingam, M.D., (Hom) took in charge as principal for 3 years and currently Dr.K.R.Rajeev Kumar, M.D., (Hom) is the principal of the college since April 2013.
The college has got the due approval of the Tamil Nadu state government and the affiliation from The Tamil Nadu Dr.M.G.R Medical University Guindy, Chennai besides the recognition of the Central Council of Homeopathy NEW DELHI, and Department of AYUSH, M/O. Health and Family Welfare, Govt of India. The college started functioning in 2000 as a self-financing institute.
