In 1998, several efforts were initiated. During the same year, in order to take Homoeopathy to the next level and to spread awareness, a group of dedicated Homoeopathic doctors, under the leadership of Dr. Sugam Subramaniam, came together with the aim of creating awareness about Homoeopathy.
In 1999, with the approval of the Government, the Dr Hahnemann Homoeopathy Medical College was established, and it became functional. Later, in 2000, at the premises of Sugam matric Primary School in Thasannayakkanpatti, the college were formally inaugurated on 15.09.2000.
From the very beginning, undergraduate programs and classes were started and continued regularly.
In 2003, after the completion of construction work, the Dr Hahnemann Homoeopathy Medical College was shifted to its permanent building. Near the old bus stand at Rasipuram, the college hospital was also started to provide medical services to the public.
In 2007, the administration was restructured.
In 2008, under the leadership of Dr. S. Rajamanickam, a new management team was formed. Since then, the college has been functioning successfully with further developments.
By the year 2008, with the dedicated efforts of the new management, the college expanded into three blocks, and the second batch of students was admitted. In the very first academic year, 32 students were enrolled, and in the following years, the intake gradually increased.
By 2013, the student strength reached 100, marking the third achievement.
In 2014, the college established with its own hospital, there by fulfilling the requirements and it was the fourth achievement. Over the years, through various improvements and achievements, our college has grown remarkably and continues to function with distinction.
